Rising from Helsinki, Southern Finland, East Electic makes intensive rock balancing between intimate expression and strong guitar walls.
Formed in 2022, East Electric features singer Jocke Levälampi, guitarist Toni Kajasti, bassist Matti Vähätalo and drummer Tuukka Ilmakari. All of them have various backgrounds from different bands and genres which they now bring together, forming a compelling blend of 70's blues rock, grunge and modern alternative rock. This versatility is an identifying feature throughout the band's overall sound, but can be also heard within individual songs.The band released its self-titled debut EP in fall 2023, and it has already received tens of thousands of streams and a lot of attention all around the world.
